LED Badge Programmer

I purchased one of those LED badges recently. Eye catching for sure, but the tools to program them (change messages, scrolling etc) are Windows only. I had seen some python scripts to program other badges, and used such tools with badges I had purchased earlier from China. But tough luck, they don't work with the ones I got here.

I have never sat around reverse engineering USB protocol messages. But hey, it should be a good and fun hack for a weekend ! Hence this project.
